Rainbow over the Columbia Scholarship
The Rainbow Over the Columbia Scholarship supports LGBTQIA+ students from Clatsop County, Oregon & Pacific County, Washington. Students who show leadership potential in the LGBTQIA+ community or their field of study are encouraged to apply.

Requirements
- Resident Clatsop County, Oregon or Pacific County, Washington.
- High school senior, undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, medical, or law student
- Seeking a professional certification, associate, bachelor's, graduate, law, medical degree, or Ph.D.
- LGBTQIA+
- Proven leadership potential in the LGBTQIA+ community or field of study
- Lack of a broader LGBTQIA+ community support system
- Encountered additional barriers to education, including economic, racial, social, geographical, or being politically disenfranchised
- Demonstrate financial need

Scholarship Funds
We look forward to raising more funds to contribute to our scholarship goal for the 2024 year of $5k. This year we have a donor pledge to match all donations during Astoria Pride up to $2500.00.
As of the end of 2023 we have a scholarship balance of $687.83.
